Experience a 2 days 1 night journey to Wae Rebo filled with culture nature and warm local hospitality. Spend the night in Wae Rebo, Flores Island, in a cone-shaped home made of wood with thatched roofs that purse upward, known as Mbaru Niang. Wae Rebo village is the best traditional village in Flores Island surrounded by panoramic mountains and forests. This is special tour package to explore the most impressive nature, culture, and people of West Flores called the Manggarai tribe. In the village, you will also have a warm welcome from the friendly local communities of Wae Rebo who live with a full of cultural nuance. You can interact with them while sharing your life journey with them.
DAY 1 : LABUAN BAJO – WATERFALL PLIAS – DINTOR VILLAGE – DENGE VILLAGE – WAE REBO VILLAGE
Wae Rebo is 120 km from Labuan Bajo, the main town on the west side of Flores, so we will pick up at your hotel around 07.00am and start drive to Waerebo. From Labuan Bajo, will pass the road Melo villiage which is location down Mbeliling Mountain that we have go up and down one hill after another, following winding roads busy with cars, buses, trucks, and many scooters. Traffic is the least of the problems, but you still have enjoy panoramic from you car . after that we will pass road to Nangalili vIliiage which is quite more adventure road, this is part of advanture to wae rebo !. We will stop at Waterfall cunca PLias before we continue to Dintor Villiage and having lunch and break. Lunch is based on indoensian cuisine. Also you have a chance to get changed and use the bathroom and shower before leaving for the hike.. Arrive in Denge Villiage, our car will stop here and we continue use shutlle transfer by local ojek motorbike to Hiking start point. We start hike to wae rebo for 2-3 Hours. The path is quite narrow, but not dangerous. The climb is constant without too much difficulty, but you need to be fit and wear suitable shoes . enjoy the trek around the forest. The forest is humid and muggy, take many breaks to drink and catch your breath. The scenery around is truly enchanting. Our guide always together will you during trek until we arrive in Wae rebo Villiage.
Upon arrival in Villiage, we will take a break before we enter to local head house for ritual wellcome. The local head house is the main house to received all tourist in wae rebo. Receiving the welcome from the chief in Wae Rebo is a very important . our guide will introduce you by giving local symbol to ask permission for anciestor . This ritual have a lot meaningfull for us and you, we need to show repect during ritual for our safety and bless during stay there . After that we will check at guest house for stay overnight. And you charge your phone . In the evening , we will having diner together with other people . Dinner consists of simple dishes of Indonesian culture, cooked on fire by the locals: rice, chicken, vegetables . after that we will visit local people house to see and known their dailly life routine and see the ir house which is full of symbol and filosphy culture on that. Around 11o clcok we back sleep and all electricy totally are OFF with dark.
DAY 2 : SUNRISE AT WAE REBO – TREK BACK TO DENGE VILLIAGE- LEMOBOR RICE FIELD -LABUANBAJO
Wake Uu att 06.00am and for sunrise. Then Having simple breakfast and cofffe tea. Walk around the village to enjoy the Wae Rebo village, while interacting with the local community to learn about their way of life and their unique culture before leaving the village. Afterward, trekking down on the same way to get back to Denge village around 1.5 hour. Then we will go on motorbike to main car parking. Then Driving back at the same way to get back to Labuan Bajo. The route will be passed is Dintor village, Nagalili village, Lembor. Drop you off at your hotel in Labuan Bajo. Lunch will provide on the way to Labuanbajo.
